The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.

Applications are now open and can shut on 15 December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the subsequent requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a home by using a combined gross family income that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined family income isn't going to exceed R600 000 per annum.
